Windscreen wiper motor refit

Has anyone refitted a windscreen wiper motor, how did you get the link from the motor to the central wiper crank to fit without fouling any of the stuff behind the bulkhead?

What Model and year is your car.?
I have refurbished the wiper mechanism on my E Type series three, amazingly without difficulty, and it actually works.
Fortunately, access was good, insomuch as I had removed the Fascia beforehand.
I photographed the installation as I proceeded, and can send them to you if you think they may be of assistance.

It just occurred to me that, when working on my car, for guidance, I use the following :-

2/ SNG Barrett parts and accessories catalogue.
Looking at both the above helps you to understand the installation and removal or refit

I have stripped down the motor and subsequently decided to get it refurbished. I have obtained a circuit diagram and have been able to bench test the motor to prove it out before fitting in the car. This is worth doing to ensure that all is working before final fit

The key is to ensure that the blade linkages are free moving prior to fitting the motor to ensure that the motor does not stall.

I have obtained a circuit diagram for the operation of the windscreen wiper motor which can be used for bench testing the motor without needing to take the switch out of the car.

Connect the brown and white leads together, connect the green to a positive battery terminal.

Slow running: connect the blue, yellow and black leads together and connect to the negative terminal of the battery, the red lead is not used
