I have to change the air con drive belt and pulley on my 1997 3.2 Sport. The OEM pulley is very expensive in the UK so I would like to use a substitute. I read in an old thread that someone had used a Honda pulley (part number 0388-YD2), but I don't know the model of Jaguar he fitted it to.
Will this fit my car and if not, are there other pulleys I can use? I know about the Gates 38006; hard to find in the UK and also expensive.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Air con idler pulley substitute?
Thank you for the information naki and for the offer of a pulley, much appreciated. I had just bought a Febest 0388-YD2 though; I'm waiting for a dry day to fit it.
Various sources say that the pulley adjuster should be turned clockwise to loosen the belt. Is this clockwise from underneath the car, or clockwise from above?
