Glad you enjoyed it Jim. it was a long time in the making, and hopefully worth all the effort. What a fabulous weekend my wife and i thoroughly enjoyed it,it was so well organised and i even had my wife, Meryle navigate and take photographs while i drove, this is a first for the wife as i usually have to ask some one else,i think Ann Hunt talked her round, thank you Ann.My xj40 did a thousand miles from home and back and i loved every minute of the hole weekend, also the trip computer read 29.3 to the gallon, not bad for a 25 year old car .Regards Jim.
The whole thing went so much better than I expected. Which was a relief! What wonderful photos and stories. The photograph of Jim Randle at the wheel of that Daimler is one to treasure.
I am glad this event went well. It was a fitting tribute to the car and to those who designed and made them. It was an excellent idea to celebrate 30 years of the XJ40 at Dunkeld.

Planning has properly started now, and it will feature more than just shiny pictures....we are planning to print a limited edition book on the event...
Time for an update......it will feature more than just shiny pictures. Several more and less famous XJ40 people will be contributing to this publication, watch this space...
