This may be of use to someone, compares wheel sizes.

It would be handy if someone knows which XK8 wheels fit XJS cars. I know some members have successfully fitted them but I guess they are not all compatible?

all XK8 wheels should fit up to the days that the Ford fitment was adopted

the rear wheels which are wider and have a bigger offset will bolt straight on , , might have to double check for the facelift XJS due to outboard brake calipers though , but pre-fecelift are fine.

the fronts need a 20mm hubcentric spacer to be bolted to the hub , and then the wheels bolted to the adaptor plate to ensure a good fit,

i have fitted 18" Flute XK8 alloys to my own XJS and there are no issues at all , except for maybe a firmer ride due to the extreem low profile tyres
