Bulb replacement

As it is a nice day, thought I would catch up on a few jobs that needed doing. Replaced the front brake pads and steering rake gators. What is the easiest way to change the light bulb in the gear selector housing. I have taken the two screws that hold the top plate off. Unfortunately, my sauage fingers are not long enough and too big to access. Any help will be very much appreciated.

When I did mine, I did it the recommended way and removed the ski splope and quadrant cover. It's detailed in the service manual.

Any probs, write back here and I'll post the instructions.
