Yeah, I bought a copy a while ago and have really enjoyed it.

The majority of the book covers the rebuild of an XJ-S that's had a front quarter impact and it's very interesting to see what they have to do to sort it out. Turns out that the frontal impact actually bent the rear suspension cage - not what you'd expect! I think this all came from a series of Jaguar World articles.

As far as I can remember (I've lent this book to a friend!) the second half of the book is about general maintenance on both the 12 and 6 cylinder cars and also discusses the difficulties of finding someone trustworthy to sort out your suspension geometary.

Don't pay the £40+ price on Amazon - I think mine was less than £20 all in on eBay.
Current cars: 1989 XJ-S 3.6 Manual & 2003 XK8 4.2L

Previously enjoyed cars: other 3.6 Manual XJ-Ss and Daimler 4.0L XJ40s

Not a bad read. I got a copy some years back as the 3.6 in question is only a few serial numbers from mine. The JW books are good value.

Needs a new thread really, but that 6.5litre Rob Beere with a 5 speed Keisler manual box looks good. Not really a daily driver, but would be fun!
