Hello, having just joined the JEC I am curious to get advice and feedback from anyone regarding a reliable, trustworthy place to get work done on my 140. I live near Chepstow, have rebuilt my 1956 140 FHC from bare metal to a complete car with most of its important original parts. I need to get some niggling issues sorted and would like a relatively local garage to do some work for me. Can anyone recommend someone? Is there anywhere I should avoid? I have been told Auto Classico near Bristol are knowledgeable, ...any experience of these guys? Thanks , Chris

Welcome to the JEC!
I know that Auto Classico is used by fellow members (I'm not local to the area). The best way to check out members' opinions of good service is to attend regional meetings where you can quiz members in person for honest and truthful opinions. Alternatively, give your local region's chairman a phone call to ask for recommendations as well as finding out about local events. Enjoy your XK. Mike.
