1987 Series 3 Elec Wiring Diagram - Harness Numbers and within?

Hello,
I have a 1987 Series 3 XJ12 Body Shell in which I am routing all of the wiring harnesses (they are currently in a big box) ... some of the OEM Harness Tags have detached, but it would be really useful if somebody could assist me by identifying 'what' each numbered harness does (what they connect to) and what wires (inc colours) should be within. This would greatly help with fault diagnosis later when trying to figure out why something isn't working.
For example, Harness 17 connects 'what' and the wire colours within are?
The Haynes Wiring Diagrams do not include Harness Numbers and I am colour-blind; therefore, I rely on needing to know what colour wires I would expect to see in order to narrow-down the colours I can see.
Is there such a thing as a Wiring Harness Deconstruct?
Any assistance would be very much appreciated, many thanks.

I suspect you're asking a one-off question which possibly no-one else has posed. If so, it might be easier to find someone local to yourself with a Series 3 and ask to physically examine it. Unless one of our fellow readers, with a series 3, lives close to you, a good starting point to find such a car would be at your JEC local regional meetings. Mike.

Does the S111 Jaguar wiring diagram manual that shows all the Harness positions and connection points; together with the parts manual that shows you all the Harness numbers, not give sufficient basic info to then work out the various harnesses that you have?

Thanks Paul, but I am not aware of a Series111 Wiring Diagram that shows Harness positions or Connection Points - or a Parts Manual that shows Harness numbers ?? ... I have a Haynes with Wiring Diagrams, but these do not include Harness Positions, Numbers, or Locations.
What actual Manual are you referring to and where can I get one?
