Check those pressures!

Postby dyrham663 » Mon Mar 11, 2024 1:07 pm

I'm sure i'm the only bad apple here... But I hadnt checked my tyre pressures for 6 months. Visually they looked OK (parked on gravel) but all had lost a good 5psi over the winter and one quite a bit more. I suspected it might have an issue but seems to have held its pressure over a few days. So maybe lost enough to lose a good seal with the wheel and then lost more?

Well done Steve,
Always good to check them when you can.
I have been caught out in the past the same as you.
Take care.

A week later and the 'bad' tyre has lost quite a few PSI so looks like a slow puncture. Trip to the Tyre guy coming up.

Another three days and the Tyre has lost nothing more! Trip to tyre guy postponed. Will leave it a week and see what the situation is.
