Hello,

Bought my 5.0 XKR a few weeks ago and joined the JEC soon after. Have attended on Regional evening meet already and look forward to getting involved in events and meets going forward.

Its my first Jag - finally took the plunge after a couple years off pondering if it was the right move (had quite a few years of owning cars made by a certain German manufacturer beginning with "P" ) and must say I am delighted with the car (what a machine) and from what I have experienced of the JEC so far too.

Welcome to XKR ownership and the JEC.
You have chosen your model well! XKRs are great all-round cars, with brisk performance, good handling and reasonable running costs. These days, it's quite possible to find cars which can better one or other of the XKR's attributes but tough to find such a good all-round package in one model. To top it all, when exercised, they make such a lovely noise. Mike.

These forums can be pretty slow-moving compared with others online, but the depth of knowledge and experience is fantastic.
