My electric sun roof won’t open.
The ‘lift’ mechanism on one side fails to engage and makes graunchy noises.
Getting access looks to be a serious job with the headlining and possibly other fixtures being removed from the inside.
If anyone’s got any knowledge or experience on this, I’d welcome input & suggestions.
Cheers, Mac.

Re: Sun Roof fault
As you might expect, removal of the whole sunroof is a big job with an official Jaguar standard time of at least 5/6 hours' work. However, maybe the part at fault can be accessed without complete removal? The glass panel is held in position by 3 bolts each side. If you could manage to release them, then perhaps you would have sufficient access to repair the faulty component? Mike.
