Back to an F Type

Well, it didn’t take long! The XE was good, but the quality was not there. In the dealers for warranty work (failed rear shock) when I spotted the F Type R. Black, two years old next May, one owner and only 4990 on the clock. Deal done and I took delivery last Friday. It may only be 450 hp but it is a real beast on the move. What a car. Love it. Feels really planted on the road with the AWD. Pics to follow once washed. It has poured since Friday! Now, I know I’ve said it before, but, this one really IS a keeper!

Regards

Ian.

I expect the extra 200bhp and wider torque band made a contribution to your decision to change too! :D Mike.

Of course and XE v a F-Type is a very different car and switching to the 450hp (which is quite a bit more than my P380) will make a world of difference. On the other hand the XE can fit 5 people and the boot is bigger etc. - so i would love to see an article comparing and contrasting the two for the magazine.
