Hunting when cold

Postby malcolm.phillips45464 » Sun Oct 16, 2022 5:26 pm

Hi All, had my X Type 2.2d for about 3 years now. It has always gone hunting when cold, feels like its missing. Once warmed up is absolutely fine and drives lovely. Its had a new jag egr and turbo and serviced every year. Can anyone give me pointers to check before it goes to garage? Thanks

No expert on codes, but I think that relates to one cylinder misbehaving in terms of fuel supply? A good independent garage should be able to explore it more, preferably a Jaguar specialist as they would have access to more in depth code reading.

I experienced something similar. I narrowed it down to the Fuel filter and has been fine ever since. Maybe a coincidence?
