X308 25th Anniversary Event

Dear fellow XJ8 owners,

In my role as your X-308 Model Section Coordinator I am in the initial stages of organising a formal get-together to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the launch of the X-308 to take place later this year. The plan is to line up as many X-308s as we can along the impressive frontage of the Jaguar Land Rover Classic Works in Ryton, near Coventry on Saturday 1st October 2022. Wouldn’t that look fantastic?
The date has been agreed and provisionally booked with JLR, however I do need to let them know the approximate numbers wishing to attend. If you would like to be involved in this notable occasion, please PM me your contact email address so that I can add you to the list in order to keep you updated as the details of the day pan out. Thank you Doug. Yes indeed, I was wondering the same thing... where are you all? This is a momentous anniversary of the launch of the X-308 and what a perfect venue to celebrate it. It will be a great day. Turning up unannounced won't work, we have to pre-book the numbers interested in attending with JLR. A good turnout yesterday in Coventry, I thought, and we were lucky with the weather! I really enjoyed looking around JLR Classic Works too! Thanks for organizing this event David.

Yes, a brilliant turn out and I counted 36 XJ8/R's in attendance. Well done to all that managed to attend this gathering to celebrate 25yrs since the production on the X308 started in 1997.
