XK8 ABS Wheel Speed Sensors

I was shocked to see Jaguar ABS wheel Speed Sensors being advertised by Jaguar Classics at a price of £180.76 EACH! I doubt very much that Jaguar make these items themselves and if anyone knows who makes them for Jaguar, please leave a message here.
When you look at suppliers like SNG Barratt and others who charge around £30 for an after market reproduction part, which would suggest you could purchase 6 of these parts to the price of the Jaguar part, which would possible last just as long as the Jaguar part. Would welcome any comments to this message.

If my Land Rover experience is anything to go by the genuine article is worth the money. Cheap alternatives just seem to cause more problems.

But if the wheel sensors are made by the same company as the after market part why pay more? I experienced this with an alternator for my XJ8. The Jaguar part was priced at over £700. I obtained a new after market part made by Denso for £170. When i took the original part off, it was made by Denso. So i would like to know who supplies Jaguar with their wheel speed sensors.

I don't know who makes them for Jaguar. Probably more than one manufacturer, but this link to Eurospares has a surprisingly comprehensive list of named options at a range of prices - none in 3 figures!
