It won't let me attach pics from my phone due to size however Jag was in its element being used as 'pub' car over the weekend. I like to think the Jag is happy going to the pub plenty of attention an overnight stay in the pub car park suits an old Jag perfectly. (The house is landlords who live behind) did raise an eyebrow at my sons rugby game this morning when someone asked if I hadn't used the jag as couldn't get any petrol and said it was still in a pub car park.
P.S picked her up the next afternoon

Jag is on display in the Manchester Convention Centre (the GMEX if you are old school) the show is The Late Brake Show.
Re: Spotted on the road - XJS sightings.
The show starts tomorrow but they asked for display cars to be there the night before going back tomorrow for the show itself. Will take some pics when show opens
Re: Spotted on the road - XJS sightings.
The show was really good, a huge range of different cars on display.
I left the Jag doors open during the show and welcomed people into the comfy seats must have had 20 bums on them during the day people having a well earned rest i kept nipping back to the car on and off during the day and had loads of chats with people.
was a fun day and glad made the effort to show the car.

Re: Spotted on the road - XJS sightings.
I know the original intention wasn't to report sightings of of our own cars! But I just thought I'd mention that I took the 4 litre out on Sunday to hook up with the local TR Register Group and drive to watch the London to Brighton.
The car park in the pub had an eclectic range of classics watching the run including this Rolls Royce Phantom II rebodied in 1950 to go on safari!
Along with the hundreds of other classics accompanying the Veteran cars on their run to Brighton, it was a petrol-head's dream day!
A great day, made all the better by the fine crisp weather. 150 miles of top-down driving on a bright winter's day. What's not to like?!
Amongst the many pictures I took was also one of a spiritual predecessor of my 2+2 convertible. The occupants probably had more fun even if I was somewhat warmer!

Sounds like a great day and unexpected roof down drives always enjoyable. Remember watching Wayne Carini on Chasing Classic Cars do the run on TV a few years ago.
Re: Spotted on the road - XJS sightings.
Used the car few times this week my lads scouts meet at night was at different location , stopped for a pic a tunnel heading into local woods. My 11 year old and dog are in the car confused why I stopped. Took a few filtered pics as was dark and dull.
Re: Spotted on the road - XJS sightings.
Only stopped for 2 mins as leaving her idling with a tank of super unleaded at today's prices!
Re: Spotted on the road - XJS sightings.
I started the year as I mean to carry on - driving the car, rather than wrapping it up. As in so many years before, I took my 4 litre convertible down to the coast this morning for a walk on the beach and a paddle (water was SOoo cold!)
The car performed faultlessly (as always). A great 60-mile drive with the top down (as always). Now parked up and waiting for a clean tomorrow!

Hi All,
Loving the pics of the cars "out in the wild".
Here's mine, just before Christmas, doing a wine shopping trip at Denbies vineyard in Surrey! Sometimes the huge boot on the XJS comes in really handy....
