Hi All,
Has anyone had occasion to remove the ECM? I need to gain access to the EM10 connector to check connectivity with the ABS/TCCM unit due to a persistemt Stability Control Fail/Traction Control Fail dash message with Red and Amber lights. The ECM is held in by four tamper-proof screws which I have manged to remove with much effort but the connectors are all covered by a protective plate held in with a further eight T-P screws which are proving difficult to remove.
Any experience or advice I can call on?

Assuming your style of tamper proof screw is the Torx type with centre pin, the special tools for these are remarkably easy to obtain and cheap too
Just Google ''tamperproof torx set'' or put that straight into Ebay.
