After braking the brakes seem to drag until I reach about 30 mph, then release.
What should I investigate first?

Re: Brakes slow to release
Hello Ccooper,
not an easy one to suggest a likely cause? I presume the pedal returns normally?
Can you isolate which wheel is the problem or is it all of them. If it is just one of the fronts you probably will also have a steering pull to that side. The rears will be less obvious.
A cause can be failure of the flexible hose(s) as they collapse internally and slow the rturn of the fluid. Another cause can be a sticking servo unit? Another option could be the hand brake system sticking?

Re: Brakes slow to release
Hi Alec,
Thanks for replying. I think it is all wheels as far as I know. My Son Paul was driving, so information is second hand.
I have looked up another post which describes how to eliminate hoses and wheel cylinders, but I think that will leave the master cylinder and the brake servo as the items that will need further investigation.
Thanks again Colin and Paul.

Re: Brakes slow to release
Hi I have had this happen to me twice,
first time I had used Silicon brake fluid, the servo seals swelled and the brakes locked on for 5 minutes before releasing.
Second time the rebuilt servo locked on again and wouldn't release, a newly rebuilt servo worked, but they didn't seem concerned about the correct setting of the center pin!
