Model identification

Hello Mike/Jim. Just sitting here wondering what to do. My XK is tucked up in its garage and it is too cold to even out. Got me to thinking that you might be able to help me with a query I have . I bought my X150 in September 2017 from a lady in Nottingham. The car was registered in March 2006 and the chassis number is SAJAC44P975B02358. According to Topix she is a 2007 model finished in metallic black. They list all the extras which are fitted. However , my car has all he parts fitted in addition as per an XK60. Front design with chrome grills, rear end with square tail pipes, side skirts and chrome side air vents etc.I wondered if a previous owner had upgraded the car to make it look like an XK60, but it seems a very expensive thing to do. The alternative was to have had the car rebuilt this way after an accident, but I don't think so. I was in the motor trade for about 40 years and can see no sign of any paintwork. She has still only covered 46000 miles from new. I have tried to get the previous owners from the DVLA, so I could check up, but no go. My query apparently, was not good enough. Any ideas? Rob

Re: Model identification
The XK60 styling enhancements were available in 2007 as a dealer fitted package before they were made standard as the XK60 model. Your car appears to have had a number of extras fitted from new. Hence, adding the body kit would be consistent with an owner running a well specced car. The kit could easily have been fitted to your car early in its life, albeit after its manufacture in March 2006. If you have the car's service history, there's an outside chance you could confirm the kit was fitted by the dealership listed there, although GPDR seems to have limited what information dealers keep and/or are willing to divulge. Mike.

Thanks Mike,
You really have cleared up my query, and stopped me scratching my head for answers. I have the service history, and will see if i am able to find out when the kit was fitted and by whom. I did wonder if she had been a pre production model, but I was not aware that the kit was available in 2007. Once again, thank you very much for your knowledge.
