Hi all,
New member to the JEC here, taking full advantage of it too with some help on the car!
First up, I came across this pipe in the drivers side wheel arch which promptly came out completely rusted. Nothing the other-side so wondering what this is?
Guessing a drainage pipe?
Apologies in advance for the spamming I about to unleash!
Glenn

Re: What is this?!
Hi Glenn,
Yes, it's the overflow pipe for the Atmospheric Catchment Tank which is located behind the wheel arch towards the drivers feet.
If you look on your photo you can see a box shaped panel just above the sill end plate. This is the access panel to get to the tank and is held on with 5 pozidrive self tapping screws. On my 4L Face Lift model the pipe connects to the Tank (white PVC bottle) by a jubilee clip and is easy to replace. It looks like the pre Face Lift configuration is slightly different but along the same lines.
A quick look online at SNG Barratt shows the part as unavailable though. You should be able to make up a new section of pipe though and connect. If the pipe has corroded and come away then it would be worth check this area for other signs of rust in the sill and jacking point just in case there is a bigger issue there.
Regards
Mike
