Does anyone know the screw size for fitting the front side lights? As usual the after market lights I bought don't sit quite the same as the originals and the screw is just too short to bite so I need to find a new one of the same type.

Hello WJ,

you may just have to try some common ones as there is no saying that the reproduction uses the same thread? Didn't it come with the securing screw?
I would guess the original may be a 2 or 4 B.A. or one of the odd 4/32 UNF screws?

I had a devil of a job finding these screws. In the end I ordered a range. I'm they're definitely UNF. UNF screws below 1/8" are listed in numbers e.g. #6 #8 #10. I'm pretty sure the ones you're after are 1/2" long, countersunk UNF #8 but I would order #10 too. As a note, they're often listed as threads per inch e.g. 24 TPI for UNC or 32 TPI for UNF. I believe thats correct. Hopefully someone will read and verify or correct. I'll check through my receipts and confirm when I get back home in a few days but hopefully this helps.
