I was replacing the front discs/pads at the weekend ('04 2.7d Sport), all going well up until the point where I cracked one of the caliper pistons (they are twin piston on my model) on the n/s. Bit of fluid started leaking out
Bought a replacement caliper from Auto Reserve on eBay, my question is.. how easy is it to replace the caliper? I suppose that I'll need to bleed the fluid into the caliper, but will the whole system require bleeding? One thing of note is that at some point in the past, the brake lines have been replaced with Goodridge braided hoses.
I was so annoyed at myself as it was going so well up to this point!
As always, any help is much appreciated.
Many thanks,
Richard
