Low down to the left of the steering column on the trim roll above your left knee. Not easy to see or locate from the drivers seat as it is located in a horizontal plane. It takes practice to find the socket whilst in the drivers seat. On hands and knees in the foot well is a good way of finding this inconveniently placed socket for the first time.It could be worse...on a Peugeot Tepee I drive, you have to take the steering column cowl off!
