i have just found out yesterday that my new shift pattern is to be implemented middle of march, and i will not be able to attend ,

You might like to know that at a recent Baron's Auction I met KWE Sales Manager Durran Heslop who was a pleasure to talk to, was aware of JEC's visit and I think we can look forward to a fascinating day.

Will look forward to receiving more info in due course.

Know its not strictly speaking specifically to do with the KWE trip, but it may interest you to know that they are currently breaking a '95 XJS 6.0 facelift, so if anyone wants parts from it, give them a call with your requirements and arrange to pick the parts up on the day!

Hi Tony,

I've been reading the threads, considering and now hope it is not too late for me to ask, could I (plus 1) be included in the visit to KWE please?

I will be coming along my 1993 4.0L Kingfisher Blue XJS Coupe (my friend and I own 4 Jaguars between us, three of them late XJS's. Can you ever have enough?). I might mention it to a couple of others who may be interested, but let me know if you have enough numbers already.

Good News! You just crept under the wire

I'll expect you and your friend to be there so no need to post again.
Unfortunately that now makes thirteen cars and twenty people which was the figure we were aiming for so I'm going to close it off there.

Next post will be confirmation of those attending and any revisions to plan, tho' I'm not expecting that it will change much.

I'm really looking forward to seeing you all on the day and let's hope for some decent weather

Yeah - can't wait!

My XJ-S is off to the garage for its MoT on the 18th which will be the first time it's been on the road for about 18 months. Fingers crossed that it passes otherwise the race will be on to get it up together for the 28th.

I'm really interested to see what KWE make of it when they inspect it - I've been looking over it since I got it out of storage and it doesn't look too bad but I've not really been underneath it yet!

Very best of luck for the 18th - a pass after eighteen months would be a real result - don't forget to fill the washer bottle etc!

I'm really looking forward to it to. Im "booking myself in" for number 2 on the ramp as I'd like to get a look under my new car - 1995 AJ16 4.0 Coupe in Flamenco - more of that elsewhere soon
