X300 Cuts out when up to temperature
Moderators:robv12, xj40_register, Popsjag
Hello, has anyone out there had this problem or more importantly, found a cure? Engine will misfire then cut out. It will start and run after 20 min cool down. Getting Desperate!! thankyou. Graham
Re: X300 Cuts out when up to temperature
Quick diagnosis....possibly a faulty cylinder head temperature sensor to be found near the thermostat. These sensors do not last for ever. They are likely to break down and cause false readings to be sent to the power train ecu. Faulting is highly likely to upset fueling parameters.

Hi All, just in case this happens to you, the fault was cured by replacing the fuel filter. Thanks to all replies. Graham
