Data Plate Location

Hello Folks,
Can anyone advise if there is a data plate that would have the paint code on it? My car is a 2001 3.0L AWD. Manual. I found one data plate rear of the passenger side front wing but it does'nt have the paint code on it.
Also there's a couple of labels in the engine bay but no paint code..Thanx in anticipation. Charlie.

Just an additional query on this~ is it possible to get a paint code from the VIN? Rgds.

You can't work out paint code from a VIN. But there should be a label down on the B-post passenger side that lists the paint code on your car.

If you forward your VIN to Jaguar Heritage Trust they will provide your original paint colour and much more!

But it will cost you 60 quid! Or just the paint code for 20!
