Rim sizes

Have a 2010 XK convertible and find the ride a little firm for my liking, thinking of changing the 20 inch Sentas for 18 inch rims, has anyone done this and what were the results please? Regards, Andy

18" wheels with larger section tyres would give a slightly softer ride. However, since replacing 4 wheels and tyres won't be a cheap exercise, it would be best to find an owner with a car on 18" wheels and to try it first. The difference may or may not be sufficient for your needs. It would also be a good idea to let your insurance company know of any such changes away from the car's build specification. Mike.
