Dick Gardner-cornwall
I,m building a nostalgia XK120 kitkat using 1991 XJS 4litre
I,m hoping to use XJS instrument cluster which means using speed sensor in diff cover
The diff I want to use has no sensor
I can swop diff covers
QUESTION--can anyone tell me how sensor picks up info--is it simply off crown wheel or is ther other differences within the diff

it doesnt pick up from the crown wheel,

the diff has special milled internals to make the magnetic pickup work,

you will need the whole dif to be compatible
