No Interior Courtesy Lights

Postby HADDERS1 » Tue Dec 30, 2008 7:22 pm

Recently I was working on the drivers side door motor/regulator. Very frustrating since this was he second one and turns out it was just the switch (so I have a spare if anyone is in need). Anyway the window slid down onto the cable that goes to the red door light. Ever since this occasion the interior lights have not worked. I suspect that the cable may be broken internally (the red and black one) or a short has occurred ( I couldn't see that the cable was broken on the outside. However I am surprised that all the interior lights don't work (with the exception of the dash which is fine). I have purchased a replacement loom from JDHT but before I replace this. Could it be that the bulb is blown or the fuse needs replacing, or should I replace the loom. What access is necessary to replace the loom?

Many Thanks

Definitely worth checking the fuse first?
