I am removing my transmission on my car and I have some questions.
What are the best ways of removing the connectors on the transmission ?

Re: Removal of transmission
It depends on what year your car is and whether it is an auto or manual, I assume you mean removal of gearbox.
Do you have a fault on it? many problems can be solved with the box in situ. If by chance you have an early ZF auto on an XJ40 I have the same gearbox on my XJS which I have changed in the past so may be able to advise.

Re: Removal of transmission
There’s two possibilities on the oil cooler lines for the ZF Autoboxes.
The earlier models have a Banjo bolt set up (better). The later versions a straight screw fit. these can be more problematic potentially, with restricted access for an open ended spanner, on the lower line under the box.
