Converting mk1 from drum to disc brakes

Has anyone done this recently, I'm wondering. If so any starting off advice would be gratefully received, including the sourcing of parts.

Hi There,

I have not done one of these myself on a Jag but know it should be no more difficult than for any other marque (I stand to be corrected of course  ). See the links below for a couple of outfits that provide full kits for the job, it may be worth your while getting in touch with one or both of these for a chat about your particular needs.

Cheers,

Thanks. I checked both these sites before posting and couldn't find anything. The first has a dedicated link to MK 1 - but it contains nothing!

Sorry about that, I had thought that such kits were perhaps readily available, but having taken a more than cursory look it seems they may be as rare as hens teeth. It may be worth your while still to get in touch with one of those outfits to have a chat about your needs. I'm far from sure of course but parts for later models could be compatible. However, that then introduces the question of how faithful to the original you want to keep the car.
