I went to this on the Saturday.
Paid £40 to get my wife and myself in.
Just as well it wasn`t a JEC event, it has got to have been the worst ever event I have ever attended in my life.
Wasn`t expecting anything especially, certainly didn`t get it!
I have been attending car/show/truck events for the last 30 years, this one was by far the worst, I was actually staggered at the poor attendence by traders, enthusiasts and just anyone really!
I shant bother with any other events of the like again.

Att,
Did I go to the same event as you? I was there on the Friday and thought it was just fantastic! The ambience of Goodwood without the crowds of the Revival meeting, seeing all those gorgeous cars going around the circuit, the amazing scenes in the paddock (just about every Jaguar Le Mans car ever produced, the people dressed up in period costume, the sheer magnititude of XKs on display, etc etc
I thought it was just stunning!
And also, it was a joint JEC event with the XK club.
I know that the weather was apparently awful on the Saturday but surely it was worth the entrance fee just to wander around the Goodwood circuit and see the huge number of surviving XKs on parade?

I went on the Saturday, and although the rain undoubtedly had an adverse effect, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I couldn't help thinking how brilliant it would have been with decent weather. All in all, though, I thought the organisers did a good job. I'm glad I went.

Keith.

Don't worry - maybe you were just having a bad day - it happens to us all. Don't give up on Jaguars just yet!
