I guess at this time of year they are hauled out of the shed, the old petrol has gone gummy or the cord has broken and the thing won't start. Typical Mr Homeowner doesn't have the knowledge or time to repair so off to the tip it goes while they thumb through an B&Q catalogue to buy another one.
I think it would be a good little earner to buy them all up. Even those beyond repair would yield spares. However space at the Rivet home for the bewildered is greatly lacking so I'm sharing this business opportunity with you all instead.
You could do a similar thing with old Jaguars, in fact someone up in the Scottish Borders already does this sort of thing
