CCC5701 Hub Carrier

Does anyone have one of these?

When doing the rear wheel bearings on my car I noticed this was cracked....

I have been ring around for 2 weeks with no success.

Quite a few of the breakers have them but will only sell me a whole axle assy. as a kit to upgrade to outboard brakes.

The cheapest (hah) option was then to get a new one from SNG. Delivered today and it wont fit.

Please help save a good car from the crusher.

how ' bad ' is the crack , and where is it , got a pic? the web between the two cast legs can sometimes display a crack , however, this isn't fully stressed as modifications to racing Etypes etc mill out this section to save a little weight and give clearance


i have some brand new hub carriers sitting here, but they need the ABS sensor hole machined out, simples for a man of your talents i expect

when you say the others ' didn't fit ' , why was that

just seen that the very last hub carriers were the same as the X300/late XJ40 , is that like yours, or is it the more rounded earlier ones ?

VIN number will settle this question

VIN is 188579.

The crack means that the forward pivot bearing fell out when shook!

Yep wrong side. Also this is for a XJ40, they are not interchangeable, the pivot shaft is in the wrong position, just like the new one I have.

If I used a 40 one the wheel would have about 5 degrees of camber.
