2003 S Type Drivers Door Lock

[RCM1946]

My drivers door, won't unlock, so have to use button on centre consol?
Fault is intermittent and from inside the of the car only
Any suggestions please

This is an old problem and loads has been written about it. A good starting point would be to go to the S type forum index or search and see what you find. I've had exactly the same problem some years ago but it seemed to go away and fortunately never returned. I do have an intermittent lock problem with the off side rear door which also has a mind of it's own. I've had a replacement lock on the shelf for years, I'll get around to it one day
