Do any of you techies out there know if it is possible to download the CD rom onto your hard drive. After copying it to hard drive it still insists that the CD should be in the drive and says the pdf files are corrupted. I'm on my second CD because I scratched the first one
. It would be handy to have it installed on my PC

I can tell you it does NOT work on a mac. Sorry I know its not much help.
You could alway add it to a file, then drag a drop the file in there. Then you will need a PDF reader ( acrobat ) That might work, or ask someone for a copy. Buy You did not here that from me! Ha, HA

The early CDs were copiable. However, vast numbers of counterfeit copies turned up on the web and the JDHT have had to insert copy protection on to their latest ones. The result is that you have to run it from the CD with all the speed disadvantages. Bummer, isn't it?

As Al says, the current CD-ROMs have copy potection. However, remember, the parts catalogue is available realtime online at the Jaguar Classic Parts website www.jaguarclassicparts.co.uk
