As BB and others know, I have recently oil changed the charger on my X350R and carried out a good deal more work to the charger and other applicable areas. This included fitting a small pulley, an up-rated coupling and porting and polishing the charger itself. Quite interesting results have been achieved. I`ll add that best advice for those running supercharged models is to oil change at 60k intervals to avoid oil disintegration and avoid having to source a new centre rotor pack.
Non of this work would have been possible without the help of one Lawson Smith Esq of Powerhouse Automotive. Lawson is the best supercharger guru in the UK and his knowledge is quite incredible. He can supply oil, special grease, bearings, pulleys and indeed NOS kits for all supercharged Jaguar models. He also offers a rebuild and modification service. Having a chat with him is highly recommended. Here is a link to his site.

Those interested in the work I have recently done to my supercharger will find the story and photographs in this link.

I have written a further three magazine articles, two of which are currently lodged with our Editor and will be published within the next four months or so. The first article details the manufacture of a sports cats exhaust to the X350 and is a magnificent addition to a supercharged Jaguar. The second article details supercharger modifications and the third article will be sent in once I have fitted an up-rated supercharger pump and massive inter-cooler radiator. Those with supercharged cars should watch out for these articles which will appear in the X350 pages. The prime details are applicable to all supercharged Jaguar models.
Right, back to your bacon butties. One day I hope to be able to attend a Kemble meet. This will be a rather nostalgic visit as I did my Licenced Aircraft Engineers training at Kemble some twenty years ago. I have fond memories of the airfield and may be able to still be able to show you a dent in the ground where I stood an Auster on its nose when a brake failed!
