I have a cream interior and would like a replacement central arm rest compartment lid. Mine has an old fashioned car phone which is not activated and I do not wish to use it. So if anybody has a spare they would like to sell, please contact me.

baz234,

Welcome to the Bulletin Board!

Just to let you know, the colour of the central armrest in your car is Magnolia, not Cream. They are similar in shade but are not the same colour.

Good luck with finding a replacement.

Central Arm Rest compartment 1993 model

I've got one with the phone cut out in good nick. I thought it was these that were rare.

When I bought my current car some 7 years ago I had the phone kit mounted over the N/S ash tray. A standard piece of kit back then. However on my previous car I did remove the existing analogoue phone and replace it with something (even back then) a little more modern.

Regards
Nick

The phone is much easier to use in the arm-rest set up!

Baz, I think the phone in armrest is 'of its time' and could be a unique conversation piece in the future, even if its not working. However, if you wish to change to a standard lid, I would be interested in doing a straight swap, providing my standard Magnolia '88 lid is the same that is. (And you include the phone).
I'm not too far from you, so if you would like to meet up and discuss it send me a PM.
