I can set a post code destination using voice control and start the route guidance using voice control but I cant find a way to cancel route guidance using voice control. Does anyone know if this can be done or do I have to stop the car each time when I know where I am and manually cancel route guidance, to stop it talking to me for the next 10 miles...? The only thing I can find on the internet is for XF or XJ which is different to the XE
Re: XE Voice Control
Not the same Jaguar Voice system I'm sure, but on my XJ X350 I can at least cancel the nagging voice with commands "Voice guidance off" or blank the display with "Display off" when I no longer need help. Perhaps these may work with the XE?

Re: XE Voice Control
Update on no navigation cancel command. My new 16 reg. car went back after 400 miles on the clock to have a replacement back high level stop light fitted because it was full of condensation (apparently its a known fault ), so asked Jaguar the question "can you cancel the navigation destination using voice control like many other cars on the market". The answer is NO... I don't know about anyone else, but to me its more important to be able to cancel the navigation using voice control, rather than set it. Like most people I set the destination when the car is static on the driveway so don't need voice control. However, when I near the destination and know the area, I want to be able to stop the man or woman banging on for the next 10 miles about turning right or left at the next junction, without having to stop the car and manually cancel it.
Think this could be an oversight on Jaguars part...?

Wow! That sounds like a serious and unacceptable retrograde step by whoever designed the system at Jaguar. Perhaps you should have bought and X350 fitted with voice option (ducks quickly!)
