Parked the car up last week no problems - tried to start it yesterday - engine isn't turning over just get a few electrical clicks - transmission warning light is illuminated - battery seems fine - any suggestions?

Is your battery in the boot on a '91? If so what's the earth connection like?
Non-vented replacement batteries can cause all sorts of corrosion fun in the area, said to be due to battery fumes.
