Is this kit for removing a hose clip or have you taken up gynecology? :o

Touche, Vince.

I`ve been on the spend as well. Universal brake piston rewind kit for me, £15 from Amazon from Germany with a mail of thanks from the MD. "You vill haff a nice day, ya"!

Left and right handed winding tools and loads of different sized winding heads for the many piston sizes that we find on our cars. One of the heads appears suitable for my 350R handbrake calipers.

Looks like there is no stopping our acquisition of special tools. Makes things so much easier having a good stock.

Snap! I've got that caliper wind-back kit also!

But now thinking I need the hose clip set as well, as I had to use some wide-jawed pliers to get a hose clip off the Floor last week. Looks a good set at that money. Where did you get it, BB?

Now need to buy a small additional compressor for a storage unit I'm sharing. Can anyone do better than the Screwfix deal of 2hp, 8cm FAD, 25 litre, twin gauge - £79?

Apols for slightly bumping this, BB!

As we all seem to be pulling coolant hoses off, how about this pair of nifty hose clamp pliers to stop coolant from horsing out and saving having to drain the system down. Just bought a pair as I shall be fitting an new aux electric intercooler pump shortly. A good tenner spent in my opinion.

Mike,

I see how they undo the hose clamp itself but how can they clamp the hose closed?

there is a pair of these in my new set , and some others,

i don't think they clamp the hose, just remove and apply the spring clip hose clamps
