Can anyone advise if it is possible to replace the auto gear box oiler cooler pipes that run to the main radiator off side without removing the exhaust header pipes to give access?

Assuming its similar to the AJ6, there is a clip that holds the 2 pipes to the engine block but I can't remember if you can get to it with the manifolds on. Other then having a go I don't know if its possible or not.
Are you having the pipes rebuilt or using new ones, just wondered on the cost difference.

Yes it looks as if there are clips behind the manifold and with the ridgid sections of pipe it looks as if it may not be possible to replace the pipes without removing the manifold. The problem with the pipes is that the steel sections at the radiator end are both rusty and are weeping transmission fluid. Is it an option to have the pipes rebuilt without removing from the car? I had only thought in terms of replacing them with new pipes.

They have to come off to do the job properly as the hoses need to be crimp fitted.
I had a power steering pipe rebuilt a few years ago by a local hydraulic hose company as the factory part was out of stock, they made a good job of it.
