XJS TIMELINE AT WESTERN DAY 2015

It was a great day and the weather was ideal. A big thank you to the JEC for putting on this show and the Eastern Day too! Both as good as each other! A special mention to Letitia Mace for getting the timeline cars set up in the first place and RJ himself for getting them parked up in order!
There ware lots of XJSs there including one of the first, the last and the Daimler XJS!

Also 4 XJS Insignia models including a one off Guy Salmon Insignia!


I have to say that both the Eastern and Western days were a great success this year and I hope they will happen again! Having been involved in some marshalling and setting up at the Eastern day I fully understand all the hard work and effort that goes into these events; so to all of you involved in any way, well done and many thanks from me!!!

can i just add what a fantastic day and indeed whole weekend this turned out to be ,

superb surroundings and a great show put on by the JEC

as far as i could tell from my small part of marshalling there were no major holdups getting into the show on the day , and around 11.30 i went to attend to my own car that had kindly been placed in the timeline under the modified heading ,

so a few pics i managed to grab , my wife took many more, which i have yet to upload

my own car on the field late on Saturday afternoon

48 cars in total, one no show, so the reserve got moved into a slot, a great turnout and thanks to all the owners who came from far and wide including, Belgium, France and Russia

Just FYI - Brian counted over 150 XJS's across the entire site so not a bad turnout
