3 of us today. Beautiful day and we had our breakfast outside in the bright warm sunshine.
Steve M and Brake Buster - we missed you!
Quite busy on the airfield today - I'd guess there was some kind of "fly-in" going on. There were also a few motorbikes around and I passed a trike on the way in. A couple of older cars around too including a classic Mini.
Iain and Oldtimer - good to see you today and sorry I was late!

Nice pics! David - the speedlines really suite your XJ-S! I have christened my wheels "marmite" although the poll to-date has only uncovered two "nay" votes so far, lol! As proven on Jag Super Saturday, my wheels certainly get a lot of attention from passersby as do the twin tail exhausts!

I hope to make the August meet on Sat 29th including the museum visit afterwards if thats still going ahead.

right

the next meeting is Saturday 25th of this month , usual meeting

then the proposed meeting and then small cotswold tour ending at the Stow on the Wold auto museum is still happening

this is only a small museum, with extremely limited parking, but we can contact the local Legion club to park for a small contribution, but we need to contact them for that, the museum has penciled us in for now , there is an entry fee per person for the museum, price to be confirmed

i propose we meet at Kemble slightly earlier than normal , say BY 9am ?

then have breakfast, and leave there by 10.30 to 11 am , and drive over to Stow, via a scenic route , will take bout 20 mins, then tour the museum and then we can either stay in Stow for lunch or disperse as you see fit ?

please add your attendance with any ideas for the day if you wish

thanks

BB

btw, its the August bank holiday weekend Saturday the 29th

Not sure if we'll (Me + family) be there for 9am as its a 2 hour drive for us. However, we will be there at some point, even if it means meeting you at the museum.

Which 1% isn't going to be there?
Yeah, hopefully in the newly fettled XJR-s; you should be able to hear me coming just before I get to the airfield!

Gutted!!! :( Not going to be able to make it this month. I have meetings up north going into Friday evening and will be stopping over that night so can't get back down to Kemble in time.
Hope you all have a good time

My imaginary XJ-S (S type really - I'm just there to make up the numbers) is minus front wheels disc and calipers for maintenance. Hope to have it all finished in good time or else it will be in a hideous diesel which really will stretch the imagination.

Sad to hear you can't make DavidR

There is a possibility that I will make this Saturday as I am hoping to get to the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway at Toddington, so breakfast on the way sounds like a plan.
-----

EDIT:
Unfortunately my visit to Toddington has been cancelled so I won't be at Kemble this time.
