Glad that you had a good meet.

I was busy pulling the cat of winter hibernation and fitting some new wheels.

She's now road taxed as of 1st March - so roll-on the season and hopefully some better weather!

Separately, I have updated the Forum Diary to reflect the NEC location for the March 28th meet.

If the weather is still reasonable, I will be off to South Wales on that Saturday. If so, I will divert into Kemble for breakfast and then illegally enter the foreign country via Gloucester! The money saved from not using the Severn Bridge will pay for a full house hopefully :D

Pop - the breakfast at AV8 is well worth the diversion - can't speak for the quality of the company though! :D :D
Look forward to seeing you there.
This could well be the maiden voyage for my Celebration after the radiator rebuild over the winter. Let's hope that my cooling system doesn't leak and BB's gearbox holds out!

Its a year or so since my last visit, it will be good to see you. The Sunday after is 'Classic drive it day' so I'm hoping to make a weekend of it.

Hi Davidr,
Be patient my son, I see this thread has had 3700 hits, I hope they don't all turn up to see my new car - well , not until I've had my brekky !

It goes well, o - 62 in 7.1 secs so the book says , frightens the ****** out of me what ever it is.

See you there

Can't make it this time; not work for a change but new toy in the form of an Alfa Spider arriving on a trailer in the morning shortly followed by Jag departing on the same trailer for more work to be done (fuel tank change, sort out brakes [lack of], ABS and rear subframe mounts).

Thanks to everyone who could make it yesterday

turned out to be a busy day , and we weren't the only car enthusiasts to turn up yesterday

there was an Austin Healey 3000 ( show condition ) and a Sprite , along with a couple of old Triumphs and an Alpha , a brace of Bentleys ( brand new ) and our own group

a few XJS's , a beautiful Aristocat XK140 a new XKR and a Mini Cooper ( nuff said  )

sorry i had to run off so early , but had a seat waiting for me at the rugby ( and what a last gasp win by Gloucester  )

next meeting will be on Saturday May 30th
