Brembo brakes

Hi all , just took my 2004 xkr coupe out , all well for 10 miles or so , then brakes started playing up !
Front brakes started a knocking or bumping noise as you use them even on gentle braking .
Car was serviced main dealer last June and less than 2000 k ago ( no brake reports ) any suggestions welcome

Start with the simple. Don't overlook the most obvious possibility which is the likelihood of a stone having become lodged in the caliper. They can make the most terrible of noises. Alternatively and less likely, a failing wheel bearing can cause the disc to tilt and touch the brake back plate, again with noisy consequences. Mike.

Thanks mike I have visually checked and can't see anything wrong , not being the worlds greatest mechanic I guess next step is the garage !!
