Bulb Failure and dash board alarms

Recently I have had a Main Beam, Dipped Beam ,Side Light and Brake Light bulb failures. These have occurred randomly over the last few months and I suspect they are age related having not changed any bulls since purchasing the car. My car is an 05,2.7d.S-Type My questions :- is a Bulb failure supposed to be annunciated on the dashboard?. If it is why is it not doing so and what should I look for.

Might want to check on S Type board as well but I don't think I had a warning light on dash when XF main beam went. My old TT pings and flashes up a warning all the time.

Thanks, like you all my other and previous cars, even my old Rover 400, annunciated bulb failure so I am surprised at Jaguar.
