Whatever the weather, the XJS will making the 80 mile journey over to my brothers on Xmas Day with the roof down as usual. After all, it's what they were made for, isn't it?

A very Merry Christmas to all forum members.

Hi Milly, I wouldn't be too worried about it being sat in the garage, as long as theres no road salt on it (unlike mine which is currently sat on the yard sh***ed up!)

If I were you though I'd definitely get underneath it when you can and give it a waxoyl. That stuff works wonders. You'll need to warm it up at this time of year and maybe mix in some white spirit to get it nice and runny. Probably take about half an hour to do the car, then another hour to have a bath afterwards!!

Merry Christmas one and all,
CLEAN old '87 XJ-S 3.6 manual (for sale!)
If no-one buys it soon, its going on classic insurance!
'96 XJR manual (the green monster)
