Three week to go.......
I have taken the stripes and stickers off my car, it was just too embarasing at the supermarket car park!!!!!
By the way, it is possible to pitch a tent at Santa Pod, so you can turn up the day before and thus ensure an early run and a gennerally relaxing day.
Hope to see you on the 29th.

Tally Ho!

Bringing this to the top just to remind everyone its this Sunday. The weather forcast is ok and you get an extra hour to get there due to the clocks going back.
See you all there.

Have fun at Santa Pod those that make it, hope the weather is kind to you.
Try not to blow your motors up!
Look forward to some feedback. :)
Good Luck

The Pod is not that far north of MarkB Acres my humble abode so I may come and join the party :-)

My 3.6 engine might well be too tired to compete on the strip with you other low mile-sters, and besides, I once tried a dump-the-clutch-at-5000-rpm-getaway one time too many (on my birthday it was) I'd snapped the propshaft right off at the gearbox!

Update: Sorry guys, I couldn't make it Sunday, I had company over all the weekend.

Great day out, good to meet up with Glenn and Ralph. I got home without any bits falling off, and the XJ-S was fine too

I would like to associate myself with the remarks of the previous speaker... An excellent day out, weather was beautiful (not a cloud in the sky) and great to meet Pop and Ralph. A wide range of motors running up the strip, if a little thin on the Jaguar front

I too made it home unscathed this time :D and with a slightly better time than before :D

Hope we can get a larger group together next year.

Cheers,

Glenn.

Indeed, maybe we could have another one just before the racing season starts next year?
All jolly good fun.
Cheers chaps.
