OK Guys, all sorted!

We have now arranged for a dedicated parking area for XJSs for tomorrow. If the marshals don't seem to know where to send you, then explain that the dedicated XJS parking section is next to the XK8 parking area.

We will also have a marquee for the XJS Forum where you can come and meet up etc. (we may share this with the XK8 Forum). It will be situated "..near the 3 blue toilets" apparently. You should be able to find it easily enough. Norman Hicks's convertible and my convertible will be parked beside it. Do come and say Hello.

See you tomorrow. Have a great day!

xjs meet - Littlecote House

Postby dhdove » Sat Aug 19, 2006 3:10 pm

Well Done Paul, much appreciated. :D
I daren't speculate on the weather, fingers crossed!
Brake Buster - excellent, look forward to seeing you again. Many thanks for the tour of your motor, I now know exactly WHY buttresses rot....
If you can't find Littlecote House, it's off the Hungerford turn M4.
"Junction 14 follow the A338 which joins the A4 just to the east of Hungerford, follow the A4 about 1 mile west of Hungerford, turn right on the B4192 where signed to Littlecote......." If you get lost blame the JEC Southern Region directions.
Had a punter to look at the blue 3.6 today, seemed a really nice guy and knew his Jags so it may be going to a good home. He's "gone away to think about it"........no comment............
Is it me or do others feel sad when selling a car they've driven and enjoyed for a few years and poured hard-earned cash into?
See you all tomorrow God and Jaguar engineering Willing. :D

PM Southern Day

Postby dhdove » Sun Aug 20, 2006 5:52 pm

Dear All
Great to meet Paul, Norman and Pop and the XJS racers.
Had a great time and a good chat, we need to get together more often I think?
Had to take a slight detour on the way home due to M4 chaos, but not too bad.
Is there another potential meet this season?
NB Brake-Buster - What happened Vince? Were you packing boxes?
Best Wishes

Very nice.
Notice the TWR is a bit high at the front? This is because there is no engine in it, the engine is here at Whitley in the engine build shop. I pass it every day but they wont let me take any parts for 'apraisal'
